What do you like about working at Trane?
I liked the sales team and our Regional Sales Manager. He was the first person to give me the chance to step outside my comfort zone of Inside Sales and move in to an Outside Sales position. I turned out to be a very good move for me. I love a challenge and I'm very competitive so it was a win/win for me and for Brady.
What don't you like about working at Trane?
I had a back injury at the time (recently had surgery and had my problem resolved) and sometimes, the long hours on rooftops and in my car would be a challenge.
What suggestions do you have for management?
Listen to everyone on the sales team, whether they've been there for 1 year or 13 years, everyone has valuable information to share to help the company grow.
Please give us a one liner to describe this review.
This was a great place to work. When I was approached by Johnson Controls, it was all about what the commission structure and a huge increase in my base salary as well as having control of a larger territory. I feel leaving Brady was probably the worst mistake I ever made professionally.
