Post Officer
in Stafford, TX

What do you like about working at Texas Instruments?

"I like my Texas Instruments shift supervisor, she is knowledgeable and understanding. She teaches and disciplines everyone on the same scale, there are no favorites. I have stayed this long because she is awesome. She understands what Securitas management is doing to their personnel."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Make sure you understand the security is 24/7/365, each post is different because I actually monitor and report chemical alarms. Unless you are scheduled off you will work on holidays, there are no benefits, and insurance comes with the post if they are willing to pay. Ask questions if you have any doubts."

What don't you like about working at Texas Instruments?

"We are micro-managed, every officer has four people managing them and we are a department of 11. Policies are being implemented to create unfavorable information files on the personnel. Petty issues are I am tired of working 12 hour night shifts and the uniform is despicable."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Management need to listen to their people, the job that we do in the Security Control center is not easy. Management needs to give credit to the work we do, we only get criticized."
