The school provides many opportunities for advancement in a variety of careers and many benefits that make any job there worth whatever is required. This thriving community of faculty, staff and students on a main campus encompassing over 5,000 acres and a research park of another 434 acres offers endless possibilities for employment. Hundreds of jobs support over 50,000 students and their educational pursuits in the 10 colleges that make up Texas A&M University.

The standard work week is 40 hours for fulltime and 20 hours for part-time workers. Texas A&M pays proportionately for the 12-15 holidays they observe each year. Generous vacation pay, holiday pay, and retirement plans are based on service years. A&M recognizes the value of employees and compensates them accordingly with merit pay, job-related skill enhancement pay, and hiring salary adjustments. Non-monetary compensation includes administrative leave with pay, flexible work schedule, and employee recognition and rewards.

Texas A&M offers excellent benefits for fulltime, part-time and graduate student employees.
