"Health insurance for full time employees and some sort of bonus program."

"The best thing about the job was that I was on my feet at all times. Prefer that to a desk job."

"Unfriendly customers, poor environment, too repetitive, not satisfying, no potential, conflicts with co workers, hands off ownership."

"Be more involved, hands on. The owner never worked in the store. Gave more focus to other endeavors."

"My coworkers and I clearly enjoy our jobs and we have developed an impressive list of regular customers who return just to interact with us."

"Showing that you have a friendly personality and patience will get you far in this company."

"The manager is very hands off and uninvolved with her employees and therefore doesn't know what should be done to further improve the business."

"Caring about your employees and listening when they have ideas can only help the company."

"Just smile, be energetic, and be honest."

What don't you like about working at Subway?

"There was no team work whatsoever I felt like I was doing everything myself."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"They need to get it together. For one a schedule is made so your employees know when to plan for things outside of work, paying bills, doctors appointments, grocery shopping, etc. Also telling people that they have to come to work when they are off or you are going to write them up is very unprofessional and wrong."

"I work less than a mile from home."

What don't you like about working at Subway?

"Working second shift. In the neighborhood I work in it can get a little scary at night. The store has been robbed in the past. Also co-workers who blame others when they make a mistake."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Manage. Don't take the word of employees about another person's job performance. Take the time to question the employee and let the person explain there behavior."

"We had to sell the location, because the landlord did not work with us. I kept the store open for 2 years with rent at $5000. The new owners closed not even a year with a rent reduction."
