Compared to what everyone else was making I was underpaid, but still glad to work to for the company.
Please give us a one liner to describe this review.
I've worked for Staples since 2005, when starting with the company I was a cashier. After 1 yr I looked for advancement opportunities which was when I got into selling. For 3 yrs I was the top salesperson, which was when I got into the Manager Program. After 1 1/2 yrs I was promoted to Sales Manager after driving sales and growing our tech business for 2 yrs I was backed by my district manager to get into the General Manager Program within 5 months of entering the program I was promoted.
Overall review of job.
I loved the administrative part of being the General Manager. Recruiting, Hiring, and Training each new group of sale people. Plus, aiming to achieve sales budgets, and delivering exceptional customer service. The only part of the job I disliked not being able to sell everyday.
