"I have worked for Siemens Energy for 20 years. It is a great company that gives great benefits, values diversity, and compensates employees very fairly. It is the type of employer where you can make a career, see the world, and develop relationships and friendships that will last a lifetime. I was lucky to develop my skills there."

"For me the company is a website since I work in the field. They are burdened with large company technology problems and processes. Just to get a box of pens takes several emails over a few weeks. They have changed the rules for accounting our labor hours and have effectively cut our pay by 2.5 hours per day. Pay is going down, and they refuse to replace lost employees in remote places, now we have to fly in often on no notice for up to a week."

"Siemens Canada is a great company, but they might do a poor job in Saskatchewan -- they closed the Saskatoon Office, and I lost my job."

"Nice place for work and life balance but a bit tedious and less of promotion. Also the mid-management team needs a bit fresh blood and pressure to give out good and valuable report to keep company going further and stronger."

"I've worked for Siemens since 2008. Since that time I have had 7 different managers and have passed over many times for promotions, recognition, and advancement. I see no opportunities for career advancement with this position, even though I have tried to push for opportunities. My co-workers are enjoyable people, but management is inept and unable to push for change. Processes remain stagnant with little to no ability to grow."

"Siemens is a great company, however this division is not reflective of Siemens as a whole. I believe that the business that was being conducted was not normal within the US organization and so we were stood apart from the parent. This separation was highly unusual in my opinion and took away from the great company that Siemens with regard to resources and opportunity."

"It's a great place to work lots of talent in that company and all of them are very friendly. I liked the most their bonus program and retirement plan. Their management team is top notch and are down to earth. I wish I can go back and work for them again. I still have have good friends that work there. They also offer a good education program for those seeking higher education skills. I was studying for my masters while being employed by them. They company has lots of respect for the individual."

"Not a place to work if you think outside the box. Very closed minded leadership, not open to trying new things. Senior leadership loves Yes people, do not make waves and you will do well. Very depressing to see the company slip..."

"I have worked with Siemens since 2006. I worked my way up from analyst to segment controller/plant controller. Siemens makes some awesome products, but its bureaucracy gets in its way - way too many layers of sr. management in the US and Germany (way too many headquarters) making decision for business they just know by e-mail or PowerPoint. It's a true example of why matrix organizations don't work!"
