"I have worked with Samsung Electronics for 2 yrs and it's a good company to work with."
"Worked at SAS since 2011. Lower managers are usually good, but upper management is incredibly disconnected from the rest of the company. Work life balance is not great, but seems to be getting somewhat better. Most engineers are in their early 20s which is a plus for new graduates. Possibly the worst systems ever created. Days are often spent fighting the ridiculous system limitations and bureaucracy."
"I have worked in Samsung Electronics right out of college. I learned many skills and it gave me the opportunity to follow the right career path. Yet the corporate culture of Samsung Electronics is not very capable aligning with many other Tech companies. I recommend to learn professional skills with Samsung but not the best work place to work for."
"I worked at Samsung for 3 years, in which I had the the pleasure of being a Project Manager dealing with a project called Advanced Services Deployment working with a team in Noida, India. An immense amount of responsibility was put on my shoulders as this was a special project. I had successfully accomplished the goal for the project and my journey was a very memorable one."
"A very nice work culture for newcomers."
"I worked for the company for one year now and I enjoy what I do. For one of the largest technology companies, I was hoping for a little more innovation as an employee, but all in all this is a great company to be a part of."
"Company has good working conditions and compensation. Hard to get more experience."
"Implemented creative and logistic integration with open source as well as in house projects with mobile platform. Provides good platform to enhance technical skills."
"This is a good company. Excellent work place. Good relations to colleagues."
"The company has taught me and used me for very hard tasks. I was the middle man and, supervisor for the contractors that worked for our company."
"Pros Company is loyal to you; lots of opportunity to learn about different cultures; great for self-starters; people are passionate; my manager is great, which is why I love working here. But if you get a bad manager, your experience will be different.Cons This is not the place for you if you need lots of direction and hand holding; cultural differences can be challenging;"
"I've worked for SAS for a year and a half as a Systems Engineer. The atmosphere is a friendly environment, and the people are wonderful. Though, the workload is overwhelming and projects are not streamlined."
