"When a project ended (except in IT dept) you had to find your next opportunity within the company or risk being laid off."

"Stop eliminating jobs of your loyal workers in California and settling for less."

"That they were unable to win the bid for the State contract and we had to move to Linium."

"Perhaps to try and keep consultants on the beach while finding new positions for them."

"The major stress factor in working for SAIC is job security."

"Some travel. Educational budget provided to me at $6000/ year; unfortunately, difficult to use due to work"

"Not much: Some of the people. Can buy health benefits w/ Blue Cross/Blue Shield. Very few managers are good."

"The management should provide a career path for SW Engineers, which SAIC does not!"

"Work with ALL team members equally. Also give new employees a fair amount of time to become acclimated with your organization."

"Promotion oppertunities are limited, defence budget cuts, redeployment oppertunties are limited."

"Flexible hours of work, telecommuting for some, and SDO for others."

"Don't settle for low ball salaries; salaries are below average for the area."

"The work is uninspiring and mundane. The morale is low due to the perception that management is frozen and unwilling to make any waves to get action or change."

"Less micromanagement, more flexibility. Provide an environment conducive to allow creativity."

"When proposals were on, loved producing graphics and taking SME ideas and making the graphics. The Jazz (A-Team)."

"Better to be flexible and not have a thin skin during high pressure of proposal due dates."

"There was too long of break between proposals and often multiple requests for support."

"They lose good people all the time because they place them in boxes with no way out"

"Management outside of our division had no long term vision of where to go. Company did not know how to handle groups that produced products (hardware & software)."

"Step out, take risks, have a vision of where you want to go."

"Great Workplace, great employees. Excellent work enviroment. The best hours."

"If a good work enviroment is more important then a paycheck this is the place for you. Dont be suprised when after being a temp they offer you a pay cut to come on board."

"Unfortunately the pay is pathetic in my opinion. Turnover is low, but so is morale."

"Pay your employees what they are worth. Ask the little guys how they are doing once in a while."

"I would say if you say to conduct yourself as professionally as you could. And to dress conservatively for your interview"

"It is so big and many people telecommute. There was not good communication between divisions."

"I would suggest that they provide more training for their staff and that they met more often with their staff"
