"If I have to answer this question it will be the system. It was really slow, making hard to complete your daily tusks."

"Keep up the good work and when an employee is doing well, let that employee know so."

"New management has made de-moralized the staff and taken away a number of benefits that employees once enjoyed."

"To remember what got them there in the first place ... be more peopl friendly and not trying to run the company from an ivory tower 50,000 feet up in the air. Be more personable & respectful."

"They have to improve desk are and VPN laptop for new people who join with company."

"We tend to do very stupid thing that are handed down from people in cush corporate jobs."

"I would focus more on the people and less on their technology."

"I don't dislike anything about the company, it was great."

"Management was wonderful and I believe they were doing a fantastic job."

"Liked it better when it was IKON. RICOH hasn't provided anything so far that has been positive."

"If you are ethical do not apply. If you can't kiss butt go somewhere else. Unless you are being considered for a manager's position expect no perks and raises around 2% a year, if raises are ever given. Expect your manager to play games talking about your team mates to you and you to them making you hate each other."

What don't you like about working at Ricoh?

"The RICOH people are arrogant and cut throat. There is a belief that perks only go to managers."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Share the success. Ikon provided bonus opportunities to all employees. Ricoh just killed the bonus for anyone less than management level. This makes it a US versus THEM workplace."

"Do your homework to understand all the products and services Ricoh offers. Wear a suit and tie."

"Their compensation plan has gotten too complicated over the last several years."

"Keep the compensation plan simple and reduce the bureaucracy and amount of paperwork."

"The direct customer and supplier contact. And the people, my peers, were a very dedicated team."

"Product line eliminations.The remaining product manufacturing was re-located resulting in workforce reductions."

"The customers product needs are fast changing. It is inportant to continue to develop and maintain customer relationships."

"The best tip or advice that I could give anyone interviewing with this company is to be who you are and allow your skills and personality to speak for themselves. You never have to second guess how you did if you provide genuine character, integrity and professionalism."

"Although it's been a relatively short tenure, I don't believe that my skills will be used to their full capacity. I miss the comraderie of working within an office with my colleagues."

"My mantra in management has always been - I work for the employees that report to me so that they can get their tasks done effectively and efficiently. Ensure that all employees are trained, have the right tools, and opportunities to grow their career."

"I got to work with some interesting technologies and worked at building a PaaS system unlike anything that currently exists"

"Avoid interviewing here if you have a family or do not want to have unrealistic expectations placed upon you and then dinged when you can't hit them"

"The culture of the company was very un-family friendly, the expectations of employees was unsustainable"

"The executive staff needs to be completely replaced in order to change the culture"
