"It's a job, not a career. I am not a retail sales associate, it is not what I see myself doing."
"To be very honest I love everything about the job but is not what I want to do in life."
"I loved helping people, helping them choose phones, and making sure they were on the right plan. The only thing I did not like was the reporting fluctuations and the Battle to prove the errors in the reports."
"Very rewarding when you help a customer pick out their gear for skateboarding. I can sleep well at night knowing that I made a positive impact on someones' life. I feel that the only downside is the pay scale."
"I love the rush and enthusiasm of fashion and sales. I also enjoy interacting with people on a daily basis. One downfall of the retail business would be the holiday traffic - sometimes it can get a bit chaotic, however it's a challenge and I'm always up for one."

What do you like about working at Macy's?
"It was ok, nothing remarkable, nothing bad. Made for a nice seasonal job, that eventually morphed into an On-Call position. Nice for while I'm in school, until it became too much."

"Not really, it's a pretty cut and dry interview/job. Good luck!"
What don't you like about working at Macy's?
"Low-paying, they'd use emotional manipulation to try and get me in to work short notice, even if I had something super important to do."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Be more understanding of employees' lives, especially if they're going to school."

"I like the people I work with and the benefits I get."

"Don't let anyone stop you from growing into the area you see yourself in."

"There is absolutely no development, and the job completely sucks the life out of you."

"Treat employees with respect and give them what they deserve."

"I like working with customers and helping solve problems. And I like being able to provide ideas to customers."

"When talking wages, ask for what you believe you are worth, and do not sell yourself short."
What don't you like about working at Home Depot?
"I enjoyed most of the time with Home Depot. The biggest problem was that they did not promote within very much."

"Help train and advance current employees. This will make them happier and they will stay longer."
