Submit a Review"It's a job, not a career. I am not a retail sales associate, it is not what I see myself doing."
"To be very honest I love everything about the job but is not what I want to do in life."
"I loved helping people, helping them choose phones, and making sure they were on the right plan. The only thing I did not like was the reporting fluctuations and the Battle to prove the errors in the reports."
"Very rewarding when you help a customer pick out their gear for skateboarding. I can sleep well at night knowing that I made a positive impact on someones' life. I feel that the only downside is the pay scale."
"I love the rush and enthusiasm of fashion and sales. I also enjoy interacting with people on a daily basis. One downfall of the retail business would be the holiday traffic - sometimes it can get a bit chaotic, however it's a challenge and I'm always up for one."
"It's not my career choice. Network Administration and software/technology oriented positions are."
"Being a sales associate often requires you to push products you may or may not like or believe it, which can make the job undesirable. Dealing with irate or moody customers is also a challenge, and keeping your composure is key. Patience is a virtue."
