The only way to move up is through favoritism. Become best friends with your boss and you will get a promotion regardless of how poor your work ethic and quality of your work is.

We would benefit from management who are actual clinicians- versus hiring young people who are skilled administratively but not at all clinically.

Interesting work; consistently poor clinical supervision

Interview your potential boss and coworkers thoroughly. Insist on a higher salary than what they offer, as you will be totally over worked.
