"I've been with the company for 6 years. They are a very profitable company but if you are not upper management you will not share in the benefits of those profits. The company preaches safety but injuries are common and often overlooked. We are under paid and management does not support us."

"Having a Manager very Hands-off. I had a chance to learn a lot. The friends I made in the company made a difference in my daily job."

"Ask plenty of questions during the interview."

What don't you like about working at PolyOne?

"Communication not always good.The limited opportunities for career growth, and the time it takes to obtain a promotion. The lack of trust from some Managers. The benefits that changed after the Company's buy-out."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Communication is a key! Limit the amount of IT softwares/systems, in order to simplify the daily tasks, improve the productivity & reduce mistakes. Trust your employees, and learn their jobs in order to manage them better."

"This is a large public corporation. They are subject to the stock market swings. It does make it risky to work there."
