What do you like about working at Petit Pois Corp.?

"I was at first excited to work with a wine importer, since I love the old school cultures of wine, as well as being able to travel to Italy and use my Italian language. It is also less than 5 miles from home and I am able to go home for lunch and have a stress free commute. I also enjoy the casual dress code. One of the only perks is to get a discount on wine. I cannot think of anything else I like about working for that company, unfortunately."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Don't take the job. They paint a pretty picture, but once you're in, you're stuck and wondering why you accepted the offer, or why you left another job to work there."

What don't you like about working at Petit Pois Corp.?

"Ha, well, I have worked into my other descriptions the negative work environment I am prisoner to. We are not given any respect, there is no such thing as HR at my office. There are no rules followed and if there are rules and they're broken, the sales people are not disciplined and the office people are under a magnifying glass. I don't like that the work schedules and the lack of flexibility as well as the language and treatment of the workers used. I constantly feel verbally and mentally abused. It is a hostile work environment. I have also taken on work for my CEO's other company and I am not being compensated."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would have clear rules and regulations and if something is not followed, I would have ramifications. I would have a respectful, professional work environment where there was no constant screaming and fowl language being used. I would do fun work, moral building activities or happy hours. I would treat the employees as human beings, not people who are padding my bank account."
