"I have worked at Pepsico for 18 months, it is a great place to learn and get started with you career. They own many powerful brands and believe in the power of their brands. The company does a great job in leveraging the "power of One" which combines many of their brands into 1 super advertisement, which in turn helps all their brands becomes successful by partnering with some of their others. Many great people work here and many great brands grow from here."

What do you like about working at PepsiCo?

"Freedom, travel, company car, expense account, continuing education. Everything was paid for."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Know someone in the company. Start there. It's who you know. You better know your computer, not only basics/fundamentals but advanced to expert before you even consider anything other than a route sales service delivery person."

What don't you like about working at PepsiCo?

"I worked in the region office and it became very political towards the end with a new Region VP who was OLD SCHOOL, brought back from a previous run as a zone and business manager successing my mentoring-hiring and retiring VP, Mark Garlieb. Well I no longer fit in because this newbie wanted changes to keep with the old family he knew when he once left and upon returning if there was anyone new he did not want anything to do with them like me."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Know people... know someone and stay clickie with those people who are hopefully a mentor who can develop you and lead you in the right career path. Recognition."
