"NEVER WORK THIS STORE (1121)-MEMORIAL & HAIRSTON, Stone Mountain, GEORGIA abuse, bullying, insult, discrimination, retaliation, unfair treatment, no equal opportunity Stay away from this dangerous person. The General Manager, a S Korean male, Jason Jae Lee, will intentionally destroy an employee’s career. I interviewed with the then-Area Manager and two other assistants. I made it clear to them that I wanted to work full-time and be trained for a future management position. I had worked in this store for three weeks before Mr. Lee came. He was transferred from other store. The first week that he came, he ordered me to clean the whole lobby with a machine by myself (although I had not been trained) He called out my name 20 or 30 times throughout the day, assigned work to me, and even yelled at me and told me that I did not need to eat free employee meals, (while other employees were talking or idle). Often there was not one minute’s rest time all day. Abuse of employees is a violation of the labor law. He asked me several times who live with you, and later he asked a female employee to ask me if I was married. After I gave no respond to the inquiry, my working hours were cut drastically, to about only 20 hours a week. Once the GM helped one female employee to sell her homemade country food to me, I refused to purchase because that she did not have a Food Handler Certification and receipt. Finally, the GM cut my working to 5 hours a week. I WAS ONLY EMPLOYEE WHO WAS NEVER SHORT ON THE REGISTER MONEY, WAS ON 24-HOUR ON CALL, AND NEVER LATE, AND I ACTIVELY STOVE FOR JOB OPPORTUNITIES. People of Chinese origin will NOT accept abuse, bullying, insult, discrimination or unfair treatment. GM failed Panda by not fulfilling its Mission, disregarding Panda values, and ethics. The GM trampled the dignity of workers, deprived employees of their rights, arbitrarily cut the working hours of employees, and finally forced employee to leave jobs."

"I have been with Panda Express for two years as counter help. I really like this job because they have very flexible hours and management tends to be understanding for every employee and tries to give fair treatment to everyone. It is a fast-paced environment, there will be a lot of pressure and stress at time but over the time you learn how to handle it better. You can always move up position-wise, there is no time that you need to do in order to move up. As long as you are passionate, follow the rules and regulations, you will move up in a couple of months. You also develop new skills that help you in the outside world and work fields. I would definitely recommend this job to people who are looking for their first job or someone who can handle fast- paced environments."

"I've worked for panda express for about one year and my experience with the company has been satisfactory. There is room for development and professional growth. The one issue I can not overcome is their relocation policy, where you are expected to be willing to relocate up to a 50-mile radius. However, my experience has been a relocation almost every month. I would like to dins a job where I am in a stable location."

"Caution to those applying who are well qualified. The Panda RG placed me into a month long interview process. During this process I completed 6 interviews and even worked one day in a location. After being exemplified by hiring management and through the process the final interview was anything but professional. In fact the interview was more about discrediting my personal beliefs to over shadow my accomplishments and education. They will expect you to be below average and non threatening to their position. Your interview will be public for every candidate to hear and you will not be afford luxury of protected Federal Laws. They will without direct statement make decisions based on your personal beliefs or religion."

"I have a theory: the closer a human is to getting food, and the faster the premise of getting food seems to be, the more aggressive they become - this is especially true when you're in a setting where the food is presented behind a well-polished glass sneeze screen. Welcome to Panda Express, where the food gets stale fast, the workers treat you like an incompetent, and only one out of a hundred guests will genuinely appreciate your work. Otherwise, they're bombarding you with the item after item, listing off everything you want as you scrape on empty woks for what little pieces of food you can get as your cooks chat in the back of house even though you screamed for them to cook a fresh wok 20 minutes ago. Not to mention you now have the added bonus of Doordash, Uber Eats, Postmates, and even Panda's own Online Orders to handle, each one of them accumulating like vultures at the foot of your cash register as you process each odrer one by one patiently waiting for an opportunity to bag the online order you've shouted for five times in the middle of a rush while three more print out of the receipt dispenser behind you. It's grueling, mind numbing, and repetitive to get beat over the head with customers disappointed that you have to cook Teriyaki chicken for 15 minutes so they don't get food poisoning. It doesn't help that the store was located in scenic Lake Nona: Where everyone thinks they're rich but won't go to any restaurant unless they have a coupon and their cars are all the cheapest models they can afford - and yet they refuse to look you in the eye as they flash their jewelry like you're some kind of disgusting servant. If you want my advice: Don't join a restaurant where your MANAGER LITERALLY QUITS three weeks after you join the team."

"Working at Panda Express, really showed me that fast food places aren't what they seem. Behind the curtains workers are doing everything they can to meet the customer's satisfaction. I really enjoyed the fact of getting to know everyone and working together. There are some issues however dealing with the way things are supposed to be done."

"I worked for Panda Express for one year. In that time I learned a lot, like cash handling, customer service, multitasking in a fast paced environment, and quick problem solving. The store I worked at was on a university campus, and it was partnered with the meal plan. So in the evenings, we had a constant line out the far door, and we were making $13,000 a night. It was a very busy and fast-paced workplace that kept me on my toes."

"I have been working for Panda Express for about 3 years, the pay is great and we have a great time there as well. Every manager I have had has been great to us, they don't treat us bad and they tell us we do a great job when we work. We also get many bonus checks, but even so without the bonus, the job is great if you are a college student, getting paid 13$ is not bad at all."

"I found the company is based on good culture of 'Panda Ways' and tried to encourage everyone to follow along. However, there are often times where the company would use any measure to get people to do what the company wants at the moment despite what's right thing to do as well, such as intervene into others' personal life, which is why I left the company."

What don't you like about working at Panda Express?

"Low pay, very labor job. Bonus can happen only busy store. New manager always be kept in a almost dead store, so all pay only from low salary, 2200$ . A manager at slow store has to work like an associate during business hour after store close it is time to do all paper work like a manager . Finally go home midnight. 2200$ a month is not worth it . They don't pay extra if a manager work more than 50 hours a week ( minimum 50 weekly hours for a manager)"

"Higher pay. I found out some manager got paid not equally ; some got 3700$ and some got 3200$ at the very beginning of working for Panda . Why they have to do this"
