DO NOT outsource any parts of the IT department. The dollars saved will not justify the poor overall results causing major delays of projects, very poor quality of work and frustration of end users. Learn from mistakes of other casinos in the valley made by outsourcing their IT to India (Bally's).

Realize that it's the people pulling your wagon, not the wagon carrying the people. I heard many times that what's good for the company is good for the people. That just may not be so. If a bean counter can see that the company can save a dollar by letting a veteran go, then that long-time employee is gone.

Founded on May 30, 2000 the company was originally known as MGM Mirage. In June 2010 the company changed their name to its present name MGM Resorts International.
