"Minimum wage job with high expectations that are not achievable. Unrealistic expectations, disrespectful Supervisors, and the Human Resource department is not helpful and lacks leadership. Worst Experience. My project ended without enough notice, less than 3 days' notice. Micromanaged, short lunch, low pay, and a lot of disrespect. Constant complaints from Supervisor instead of being appreciated. High turnover rate, stressful."

"Bad company.....................Horrible trainer and shady Qc. ON 02-14-22 I was hired remotely through APPLEONE a temp agency for Maximus in Athens TX. ON 02-16-22 I was written up for my camera on my computer. ON 02-24-22 I was written up again. ON 03-14-22 I was written up due to starting a quiz early and I was told by my trainer I had committed a violation. ON 03-14-22 I was FIRED. The morning of my firing I was given my new schedule to convert to Ojt which I was excited about but right after work I get a call from AppleOne saying my assignment with Maximus had been terminated. People read your reviews. There is something fishy and shady about Maximus in Athens TX and AppleOne temp agency in Dallas TX as well. I would love to give out names but I’m not. Just thought I would share the details of how they operate."

"Culturally, Maximus is deficient in leadership. While Maximus promotes from the bottom, it is a painfully slow process, and ultimately, employees whom are ultimately promoted to leadership positions, do not have an education beyond high-school. This has been detrimental to the culture of the company. The approach taken to correct behavior is highly punitive. Within my first couple of weeks in the office, I heard the words "next time its grounds for termination" at least five times for different reasons involving different people. I did not meet my manager until the third month of employment, and it was done over the phone in a team skip-level meeting. You get zero exposure to professions that exist within Maximus, and employees are heavily micromanaged. Not an appealing place to work, particularly if you are driven and seeking development and promotion. On the other hand, if you do not mind coming to work, not speaking to anyone, keeping your head down, and can follow rules to a "t" - while making poverty level income, this is the place for you."
