"Sadly a company that seems to be in the middle of being wound-down by it's parent company. It would be interesting to see a full case study of Magellan vs Garmin, because they both started about the same time with similar products. Why did Garmin go on to thrive while Magellan is headed toward failure? Working with Pierre Parent, the president, was great, but the parent company is not interested in spending the time or money to save this business."

"This company has gone through so many management changes, and some of the changes were very difficult and tough on the employee morale. The new management that is in place seems to be better but they have only been in place for a year or so. I would ask a lot of questions about how they plan to stay competitive in the very competitive consumer GPS market space."
