The jobs are easy, they will hire anybody, also get to look at pretty coeds all day

Wow, where do i begin? Employees are treated like dirt, it's all about sales & that's it, imcompetent upper management. People making the decisions in the corporate office have not a clue, they need to go work inside the clubs & get a clue as to what is going on & how their decisions effect employees that are dealing w/ the customers

I realize sales is the bottom line, but re-direct some focus back onto customer service & not harrassing people before they come members, while they are members, and even after they are members. Also a memo to District VP's.....quit cheating on your wives & treating your sales staff the way you do. Training sales needs to be completely revamped, very shady sales tactics

Do not work for LA Fitness unless you are completely desperate for money and a job

You will be lied to during your interview regarding how much money you will make & about the career and advancement opportunities. If they told people the truth during the interview process the company would have a difficult time getting anybody to accept a job

I only used this job while I searched for "REAL" job. You are a glorified bill collector and that what you spend most of you day doing.

The commision structure is terrible and always changing without notice. Very unprofessional upper management. No support staff. Harrassing people to pay their bill.

Zero communication from the VP'S and Corperate office. They make decisions and don't communicate them down to the workers.

You have to be desperate to work here. Run away fast if your recruited to work here.

This was the worst company I ever worked for. Only do it if you need the money.

The pay first and foremost, being able to hire and fire as necessary as well. Also the mostly fun atmosphere.

I believe the worst part of my position with the company is working in customer service. LA Fitness, overall, is not a bad company. Being the constant buffer between the demanding unreasonable public and a company you represent but do not control is trying at best.

I would provide more structure in areas where policies are unclear and allow more flexibility where it is needed.

Make sure you are prepared to be on call and solve problems from open to close!

I liked the close proximity to my residence. The opportunity to care for my health.

The team efforts were not coexistant. The management lacked professionalism.

Management should have meetings to discuss to improvement. Company procedures and manual should be available for a quality operation.

The executive structure did not coincide with my expectations of professionalism
