"The progression is not as pleasant or as quick as portrayed. You will not (most likely) make Partner in 8-10 years. You might be an experienced Manager by then, if you can hang on with the work load."

"Work load is assigned based on need, not necessarily interests, goals, or other factors. Project assignment is handled without staff consent or input."

"Be more involved in the process of identifying employee needs and lessening stresses."

"Not really sure, the interviews were very informal, mostly questions about my resume."

"The hours are terrible, especially during busy season, there are weeks well into the 70 to 80 hour range. Lots of travel too."

"The colossal disconnect between the leadership team on a campus level and department managers is apparent to most member and employees. Unfortunately, neither has the passion nor commitment required to forge the gap."

What don't you like about working at KPMG?

"The cultural environment is toxic. In my experience in a union environment, people tended to be bitter and suspicious of any form of civility. It was almost expected to be cynical and untrusting of anyone and everyone. To function with the company's objective to thrive is almost impossible when you consider the lack of accountability from management and labor to each other and themselves. Truly disheartening."

"Ensure a more uniformed roll out of initiatives between each department. Round with employees to get an idea of opportunities of implementation of initiatives."

"I enjoy the job security, atmosphere, and education. People are great as well."

"Use kpmg as a stepping stone because you don't want too long. You will not be rewarded despite what is said. Don't believe what you hear."

"Pay, benefits, no recognition of work quality only time on the job, idiot leadership."

"I would have a better system of accounting for the true hours individuals work and have more realistic expectations of what is required on a given project. People should be paid and rewarded for their efforts."

"Try to make the experience of the people getting interviewed - Good! Even if people do not make it to the organization, they should feel that it's a professional services firm and should talk positive about experience of being interviewed here."

"At times things don't move as projected in the business plan shared. However, it depends upon the company strategy."

"We should invest on some technology to automate the recruitment process / HR process. There were a lot of things that were being done manually. I had various ideas that could be implemented (from my previous organization)."
