Education: Most project engineers have a Bachelor of Engineering degree. This is the minimum degree level for entry level positions. A Master's degree or higher is required for career advancement.
Career Path: There are many industries including construction, mechanical and electrical engineering that hire project engineers. Project engineers can advance to senior engineers, project or development managers, consultants and operations managers. These positions are obtained through experience and continued education.
