Dover Fueling Solutions is seeking a senior leader to help grow & sustain the EHS function in our North American region. The Senior Manager, EHS is responsible for leading the safety strategy and culture across our regional sites and manufacturing facilities.

The EHS Leader will plan, align, and progress the EHS functions objectives to align with strategic goals and culture, as well as to drive leadership frameworks, risk analysis, employee safety, program initiatives, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.

This position has direct reports.

This position will report directly to the Director, Quality and EHS.

Essential Functions

· Provides proactive direction and operational guidance to build and foster a safety culture committed to safe work practices, health and wellness, incident and accident prevention, regulatory compliance, and environmental management and sustainability.

· Manage and ensure compliance with all environmental permit obligations.

· Develops strategic plans in collaboration with business and functional needs

· Implement KPIs to ensure compliance with strategic safety incidents goals for DFS

· Champion continuous improvement efforts in the department.

· Drive safety and health policies and programs to support overall corporate objectives, operations, and profitability.

· Lead/train team to interpret, evaluate, and provide technical guidance on functional requirements, accident investigation, and implementing corrective action measures.

· Partner with external vendors to address key areas of risk (i.e. insurance)

· Conduct comprehensive on-site hazard and risk assessments, safety audits, and equipment inspections to mitigate risk.

· Develop, evaluate, and conduct onsite worker training on safety laws and regulations, hazardous condition monitoring, and use of safety equipment at job site locations.

· Oversee and enforce compliance with OSHA, USC 46, EPA, DOT, and other relevant regulations in accordance with statutory and contractual requirements.

· Develop and provide regular metric reporting to measure the effectiveness of compliance and training programs.

· Compile, analyze, and interpret statistical data related to occupational illnesses and accidents.

· Develop health and safety policies and procedures (chemical safety, ergonomics, illness and injury prevention and building safety), including those pertaining to hazardous materials and work areas.

Minimum Education, Experience, Skills

· BS in Engineering Environmental sciences, occupational health, and safety, MS or MBA preferred

· 10+ years of EHS leadership experience, preferably in an Oil & Gas or heavy manufacturing environment at least 4 years management-level safety professional experience

· Prior experience in successfully building and leading teams and developing talent.

· Demonstrated expert compliance and regulatory knowledge and industry best practices

· Strategic thinker with creative and excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

· Excellent analytical skills with an ability to critically interpret and use scientific and clinical data to Able to effectively collaborate with site operations, functional leaders, and external clients and vendors

Preferred Education, Experience, Skills

· CSP or other certification

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
