Job Summary:
Pomeroy is actively hiring for a Platform Solutions Architect for a large organization in the Cleveland area. This is a direct hire role and hybrid in nature. In this role, you will be responsible for architectural patterns, principles, and frameworks, and be well-versed in key technology platforms, DevOps (Azure), infrastructure, database, security, legal compliance rules and software platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Technical architecture of solutions such as ERP (Oracle EBS, SAP, etc.), Microservices, Cloud (Azure), and containers and orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Conduct proof-of-concept, pilot on the latest trends and advancements in digital transformation and apply them to the organization's technology strategy.
- Conduct regular assessments of the technology architecture to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to Platform Engineering leadership.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the deployment and operation of new technologies and software products.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in IT.
- 8+ years of experience in solution architecture and architectural frameworks, including the creation of current, transitional, and future state architectures.
- 5+ years of experience in driving and delivering solution architecture for large scale Enterprise Resource planning (ERP) systems like Oracle EBS, NetSuite, SAP, Infor, or others, preferably in manufacturing or finance industries.
- 4+ years of experience in Java/Spring Boot, or similar platforms or frameworks in a service-oriented environment.
