Qualifications: Current, valid Early Childhood License w/EC Generalist 4-5 endorsement, Elementary 1-8 or Kindergarten-Elementary K-8, Middle School 4-9 License in Language Arts, Reading and/or Math, or High School 7-12 Content License ( ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies); Physical Education K-12 License
Reports To: Executive Director of State and Federal Programs
Description/Duties:
- Provide tutoring support for students residing at Children Services in the content areas (academic) - Academic Tutor
- Provide physical activity opportunities to students residing at Children Services (physical/mental health) - PE/Health Teacher
- Keep appropriate records as needed.
- Be responsible for all school equipment and property entrusted to the teacher.
- Abide by the rules, regulations, policies and procedures of both the Warren City Board of Education and the Children Services of Trumbull County pertaining to the classroom teachers and the teaching process.
- Perform other related duties as may be assigned by Executive Director of State and Federal Programs or his/her designee.
Effective Dates: Program will run from November 2, 2023 through March 28, 2024
Work Schedule: Academic tutoring - Two days per week (Tuesday/Thursday) two hours per day
Physical activity - One day per week (Tuesday)
Teacher Day: 4:15 p.m.. to 6:15 p.m..
Pre-service Meeting: October 26, 2023 at CSB, 4:15 p.m. - 5:15 p.m.
Work Site: Children Services of Trumbull County, 2282 Reeves Road NE, Warren, Ohio
Salary: $30.04 per hour
