POSITION SUMMARY:
The part-time adjunct position in Kinesiology provides a great opportunity to enhance ones academic, scholarly and creative abilities. The selected candidate should be able to teach a full range of undergraduate courses within kinesiology including but not limited to biomechanics, foundations of kinesiology, exercise physiology lab, etc.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Primary responsibilities include teaching three classes (9 hours) per semester within the Kinesiology discipline to undergraduate students. Must be able to teach face-to-face on campus at Fisk University. The qualified candidate will perform the following duties:
Prepares and delivers learning activities in order to achieve course outcomes
Prepares course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts
Evaluates and grades students' class work, assignments, papers, and examinations
Maintains and submits student attendance records, grades and other required documentation by specified deadlines
Be attentive to responding to students emails within a 48-hour time frame

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:
Masters degree in kinesiology, physical education, recreation, exercise physiology, sports administration (kinesiology focused degree), or Masters with 18 graduate hours in kinesiology, physical education, recreation, exercise physiology, or related fields (kinesiology focused degree).

Experience:
Previous teaching in the field of Kinesiology at the collegiate level is preferred.
Proven ability to cultivate professional relationships with local, state and federal businesses.

Licenses or Certificates: None required.
