Job Details:

We are a leading global manufacturing company looking for a dynamic, innovative and enthusiastic Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. This is a permanent position offering an excellent opportunity to work with a team of skilled professionals in a fast-paced, high-tech environment. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, qualifying, and commissioning new products and capital equipment. They will also be responsible for troubleshooting, preparing bills of material (BOM), and managing the entire life cycle of our products.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your expertise in ISO, APQP, PPAP, DMFEA, PFMEA, MSA, SPC, 8D, RCA, CAPA, PLC, ERP, SAP, 3D CAD, and CAD to optimize manufacturing processes and improve product quality.
  • Participate in the design and development of new products and capital equipment, ensuring they meet customer requirements and company standards.
  • Conduct commissioning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities for manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Prepare and manage bills of material (BOM) for new and existing products.
  • Implement and manage the APQP process to ensure successful launch of new products.
  • Use your problem-solving skills to conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and develop corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of process improvements and new product introductions.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards, including ISO 9001 and other relevant quality management systems.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
  • Proven experience with ISO, APQP, PPAP, DMFEA, PFMEA, MSA, SPC, 8D, RCA, CAPA, PLC, ERP, SAP, 3D CAD, CAD.
  • Experience with design, qualification, and commissioning of new products and capital equipment.
  • Strong skills in troubleshooting and preparing bills of material (BOM).
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software and ERP systems, preferably SAP.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and develop corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodology would be an advantage.
