Responsible for packing finished pouched materials and assisting with the preparation, production and packaging of materials
Maintain equipment and manufacturing cleanliness.
- Assisting with the screening, blending and packaging of a variety of amino acids, vitamins and minerals, including those which are allergenic, herbals and protein.
- Responsible to follow the procedures for the packaging of pouches.
- Proper cleaning of manufacturing equipment and production floor as well as assisting with routine maintenance on manufacturing equipment as requested by the Operator and or the Supervisor.
- Operation of equipment (product feed, packaging machine, sachet knife machine, cartoner machine, x-ray equipment, packaging machine, metal detection equipment, case taper, case coder, checkweigher set up, conveyor adjustment, inkjet coder, label machine) to include; prep, clean, operate, as well as performing minor repairs.
- Understand how to use the weigh scales and checkweigher properly.
- Responsible for filling out paper reports correctly and clearly.
- Possess knowledge of batch recording and material handling procedures.
- Ability to verify the accuracy of materials and procedures used in the manufacturing of finished goods.
- Be able to perform all tasks on the line in a proper and efficient manner.
- Move material using pallet jacks and or forklifts.
