Company: Trusted Staffe is partnering with a reputable regional medical center in Selma, AL, to recruit a dedicated Registered Nurse for their medical-surgical unit.
Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and comprehensive nursing care to patients admitted to the medical-surgical unit.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, and communicate effectively with physicians regarding changes in patient status.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to ensure patient safety and quality of care.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Active Alabama Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact state license in good standing.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a medical-surgical nursing setting.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.

- Willingness to work night shifts.
