We are currently partnering with a leading law firm in the personal injury practice area to fill the role of Personal Injury Paralegal on a contract basis.
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with case preparation, including drafting legal documents, gathering evidence, and conducting legal research.
- Communicate with clients, medical providers, insurance companies, and other parties involved in cases.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.
- Schedule appointments, hearings, and depositions.
- Prepare and file court documents, pleadings, and motions.
- Provide general administrative support to attorneys and team members.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred.
- 2+ years of experience working as a paralegal, preferably in personal injury law.
- Strong knowledge of legal procedures and terminology related to personal injury cases.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
