Summary: Responsible for providing various levels of project management functions and operations and for identifying, describing and presenting areas for opportunity and improvement. Develop reports, findings and recommendations, perform various change management activities and work with or present information to customers. Models and acts in accordance with our guiding principles and core values.


Typical Responsibilities:

· Assist with training and developing project management or team member staff to include on the job training, reviewing work and proposals and assisting with feedback.

  • Provide comprehensive reporting of project status, accountabilities, deliverables, timelines and related requirements; projects are large in scope.
  • Identify and deliver project milestones, communicating with stakeholders, removing complex obstacles and ensuring a variety of resources are available.
  • Perform various data analytics and ensure the accuracy of databases, reports and related details through audits, queries and operational reviews; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Develop or maintain logs, charts, graphs, trackers, and related project management tools and systems through comprehensive project management understanding.
  • Ensure processes and operations comply with applicable laws, rules and regulations and seek advice and interpretation when required and apply across operations.
  • Develop project, improvement, or current/future state proposals or presentations for customers or management; typically involves larger scale projects.
  • Develop and deliver change management outlines, which includes stakeholder identification, communication approaches, tools and aides and related areas.
  • Develop more complex metrics and goals for projects, present information to customers or leaders and prepare templates or details to ensure operations are meeting expectations.
  • Oversee or ensure timely communication is provided to stakeholders, team members, customers and related parties on the status of projects, work to resolve potential service or operational issues and inform leaders as required.
  • Oversee or review and respond to customer requests, which includes the status of projects, team member needs, resources and change management.
  • Coordinate internal resources to respond to internal or external customer requests, such as gathering, analyzing and summarizing information.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Requirements:

  • Fundamental professional principles and practices related to process improvement, project management.
  • Awareness of common systems and databases for continuous improvement/process management/lean. Ability to leverage several systems and databases for project management and to oversee and ensure the accuracy of specialized databases through auditing, reviews and analysis. Ability to develop analytics, reports and communications within project management.
  • Capable of developing specialized analytics, reports and communications within project management and the ability to determine metrics and measurements for project management and objectives.
  • Understanding of applicable laws, rules and regulations related to area of assignment and ability to ensure operations comply.
  • Capable of identifying areas to drive efficiency and operational effectiveness.
  • Able to communicate project management information, identify and communicate potential operational or analytical concerns and facilitate communication across customers, operations and other groups.


  • Ability to operate in a both a team and individual contributor environment.


Minimum:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations or equivalent education and experience.
  • Typically at least 5 years of Continuous Improvement/Lean experience, including some specialized or complex work.

Preferred:

  • Master’s Degree in related field.
  • Lean/Six Sigma certification
