Position Summary
As an Associate IT Solutions Architect, you'll play a crucial role in designing, integrating, and implementing IT solutions that align with our district's vision. Collaborate with a dynamic team, tackle emerging technologies, and work on projects that make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with IT Solutions Architects and teams to integrate solutions within the district's IT enterprise.
- Propose and develop plans for on-premise and cloud-based solutions.
- Architect data lakes, ensuring data capture, storage, and data governance.
- Lead and participate in architectural planning committees.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on architectural best practices, including cloud computing, AI, automation, and machine learning.
- Architect cloud infrastructure solutions for storage, computing, and application hosting.
- Define and enforce IT standards and practices for enterprise-wide compatibility.
- Assess existing architectures and recommend improvements.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., electrical engineering, mathematics, computer science, data science, cybersecurity).
- Experience: Three years in data analytics, cloud infrastructure, or cybersecurity.
Special Certifications:
- A valid driver’s license to legally operate a motor vehicle in the State of California and the use of a motor vehicle.
Data Emphasis: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
