The Clinical Nurse Practitioner functions with our Oncologists to assess, evaluate, treat and refer as defined by departmental policies with an emphasis on health promotion and patient education, combining the qualities of both nursing and medicine. The Clinical Nurse Practitioner will work with their own license as a health team member in collaboration with the Oncologists to provide care to medical oncology patients, perform professional clinical duties in the outpatient and inpatient areas to provide quality patient care and will act as a patient advocate in coordinating all aspects of cancer care, i.e. psychosocial issues and referral to outside agencies.# # Qualifications: Current ACLS AND BLS certification Five years recent experience in a hospital setting YORK HOSPITAL IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
