What do you like about working at Telecare Corp.?

"If you are on a good team life is good! If your Team Lead sucks then life sucks. And it's tough to get off a bad team."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Just be ready to LOVE DBT, CBT, and David Burns."

What don't you like about working at Telecare Corp.?

"Clear favoring of white males regardless of talent level or ambition to actually do their job."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Clinical directors should always maintain a small client list of of their own!"

What do you like about working at Amedisys?

"helping patients, the nurses and other clinicians. It allowed me to be debt free"

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Getting the job was easy. All palliative NPs present as of Jan 2012 have resigned. They will hire you. They are desperate"

What don't you like about working at Amedisys?

"Non medical people try to dictate clinical decisions. The company is under investigations for medicaid fraud (again!) and has recently closed or consolodated 28 centers without employee warnings due to financial losses. Managment will lie and make up reasons to fire you if they do not like you despite your clinical skills and prior awards"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Stop telling lies to your employees and the public. Money is the bottom line. Palliative Care's goal, we were told was to ..funnel people into Hospice.... where the real money is.... Funny, I thought my job was to alleviate suffering in patients with life threatening illnesses. As our presenter pointed out you will not earn us money that way... the money is in Hopsice.. I watched in horror as he drew arrows representing my patients being funnelled into hospice, to demonstrate. I pictured cattle being funnelled to the slaughter. I had hopes that my patients would survive their chemo or illness. , but that was not their primary concern. When they did survive, I was told to ....check back every few months, maybe they are getting worse and we can get them into hospice.... I was horrified and disgusted. I could no longer work for this company and maintain my self respect as a clinician."

"Sure. Just know what you're getting in to. This job will get you your hours and good experience, but you will not find your career at ChildNet. Put your head down, do your work and get out when you can."

What don't you like about working at ChildNet Youth and Family Services?

"I never felt appreciated.No raises. Bad vibe- people are unhappy."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"CEO and COO are too far removed from their employees. If employees were happy, the company would do even better than it has in the past. Employees are not happy, not treated well, and therefore there is a lot of turn-over. The vibe from management is condescending."

"There was always younger clinitions who balked at group supervision rather than look at it as a learning experience"

"better salary and vacation time as this is a stressful position and field of employmment"

"Our recent merger has really hinder our ability to do our job in an effective manner. To say that the new management gets in the way of our work would be an understatement!"

"Possibly step back and have faith in the high quality of your workforce. Appreciate the culture and what has made your new acquisition unique and don't just try to dilute us into your culture."

"Get the standards and expectations completely outlined up front. Perform to those written expectations, and if/when you're told your performance isn't up to par, review the standards and expectations. Overall, Wheeler is a great organization to work for."

What don't you like about working at Wheeler Clinic?

"I thought working in a smaller work environment would mean less of a clique-situation, but this was not so. I found myself on the outside regularly, which often meant I was left out of the loop for important information. When I would act on the info I had, I would be told I was wrong and put under performance review. If I tried to make independent decisions, sometimes I was praised, but often would get complaints from my boss that I was not operating as a team member."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"A personality driven work setting is difficult to avoid. It happens regardless of the size of the organization. However, it should not be overlooked as a concern which can impact heavily on an employee's ability to perform to standards."
