"Don't love any of it. Like that it is mechanical work. The computer system at Boeing for the mechanics is terrible. You have to search through countless schematics to find how to do each job instead of being able to follow the work instructions."

Aircraft Mechanic at Duncan Aviation
in Battle Creek, MI

Please give us a one liner to describe this review.

"If you don't ride the wave of change, you'll soon find yourself beneath it."

What do you like about working at Duncan Aviation?

"Mechanics on the Floor are helpful, and want to help you learn. A good place to start a career in Bsiness Aviation."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Dress nice and be professional. Ask the interviewers good questions and don't be afraid to put them on the spot. Take their promises with a grain of salt."

What don't you like about working at Duncan Aviation?

"Upper Management has no vision what-so-ever. They will tell you anything to try to keep you happy short term, and then when it comes time to make due on a promise, they pretend they have no idea whats going on. When layoff's came, the true colors of Duncan were shown. They axed guys who had great work ethic and loved the Company and their jobs, and held on to nitwits who couldn't fix a sandwich. I survived the layoffs, and everyone hoped that the paycuts would be temporary. Come to find out, RRT empoyees didn't even receive paycuts and didn't even know that they had occurred! The Duncan hierarchy of importance works like this- #1 - the CEO, Duncan, and upper management.#2 - Facilities. #3 - Customers.#4 - Employees."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"You have no Talent left in this company because of poor decisions. The lack of quality employees will effect quality of work, and you will only anger more and more customers over the next coming years"
