"Be sure to ask enough questions about the day to day work life experience. Ask about how to resolve grievances, ask if the corporate required behaviors are reflected at the local level among the mangers and senior people."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Reworking their lead management system in a HUGE way. Require greater professionalism from Senior Reps. Mentors for new reps. Disciplined monitoring of financial reps, and mid level managers. A grievance procedure. This list could go on & on."

"Teaching Assignment, building, coworkers, affording an opportunity for non-traditional students"

"Teaching is a privilege and to take advantage of the opportunity. Be aware of the demands and needs of today's college students...be prepared to work with all ability groups and shift gears during the three and one half hour classes"

What don't you like about working at ITT Tech?

"for profit motivation, low pay, too many students, high cost of education for students, ever increasing goals"

"Better screening for those who are not qualified and for those who need assistance outside the classroom"

"Hire good teachers and paid them well. Good teachers cost, bad teachers cost more."

"Great job, not a career."

"Both Pros and Cons, ask lots of questions about the position and ask to see the performance evaluation fior the position interviewing for."

What do you like about working at ITT Tech?

"Opportunity for advancement. If you are an overachiever you are rewarded. They feed people non stop that is the only incentive compensation that can do. So they bring in meals constantly. Very high level of accountability and complaince is extremely important."

"Be very student centered. Positive and upbeat. No what to ask salary wise because once you start at one salary with this company that is where all future promotions are based off of."

What don't you like about working at ITT Tech?

"Work Hours, very demanding most positions require 6 days a week. There is no expectation of weekends off even surrounding holidays. Most positions go start as early as 8am and go as late as 11pm."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"A better work-life balance or at least better compensation for the lack of a like outside work."

"Students can get a better education for a LOT less money at a Community College!"

"Teaching the students. Working with some of the other educators. The chance to further students knowledge of real world employment."

"Be prepared for the shock of not getting compensated. Look around at some other schools before deciding to work at ITT."

What don't you like about working at ITT Tech?

"Low pay, outdated programs, books and equipment, labs that don't work and exercises that don't make sense and don't work"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"revamp the whole thing to reflect real world, get newer textbooks and create better lab exercises that reflect the real world"
