"I enjoyed working at Invacare because it provided me with valuable experience working on a high-availability e-commerce website. I gained valuable experience in UNIX, BroadVision, Joomla!, and jQuery. It also gave me the opportunity to become certified in the OnBase APIs."

"My suggestion for others interviewing with this company would be to ask numerous questions about the company's plans to move forward with their web presence and really assess if they are ready to get involved in such an immature SDLC."

What don't you like about working at Invacare Continuing Care?

"Management is hesitant to update existing technology. We were using outdated technologies, like Java 1.3.1 and unsupported versions of Oracle databases. No solid SDLC was being followed or enforced. Industry standard web practices were not enforced or known about by management."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"My suggestions include implementing a solid SDLC, implementing a better process for prioritizing tasks, and embracing new technologies to keep systems up to date."
