Intel's culture and environment encourage learning and personal development; also Intel opens lots of opportunities within the organization and does not mind people move between the groups so that employees get a chance to acquire diverse skills and expand their horizons. Intel's policies also strive to provide employees with good work/life balance; however, it is not always possible, especially in customer-oriented teams."

As an engineer trying to make headway, you can get bogged down in the bureaucracy and getting recognition even though you can do quite a lot of work."

The fact of the matter is there is competition among the companies also, so this is what it is, employees must accept the realities. The previous CEO did not see this coming, so he did not prepare the company for this current situation. Current CEO has a very difficult task of reviving the company, but he has a tough uphill battle."
