"Intel was extremely results driven and collegial. There was much attention to growth as a professional. Contract work lasts for as long as the project lasts, so there was a reasonable turnover within contracted projects. I would highly recommend this company for professional growth."

"I have joined Intel in 2011 from Infineon due to the Intel acquisition of the latter. Intel's culture and environment encourage learning and personal development; also Intel opens lots of opportunities within the organization and does not mind people move between the groups so that employees get a chance to acquire diverse skills and expand their horizons. Intel's policies also strive to provide employees with good work/life balance; however, it is not always possible, especially in customer-oriented teams."

"Great technology company. The location I relocated to was not ideal and the coworkers were not so welcoming to new hires. I would work for the company again if given the opportunity but would choose a different location."

"Intel is a good company overall to work for. Good benefits, good quality of life, people are friendly. It can be a bit tough as a software engineer to get traction, or support for an agile way of working, since deadlines are pretty fixed and determined by mandated hardware schedules. As an engineer trying to make headway, you can get bogged down in the bureaucracy and getting recognition even though you can do quite a lot of work."

"Job security is not what it used to be. Thus, people are beginning to feel insecure - not a healthy job environment unfortunately. The fact of the matter is there is competition among the companies also, so this is what it is, employees must accept the realities. The previous CEO did not see this coming, so he did not prepare the company for this current situation. Current CEO has a very difficult task of reviving the company, but he has a tough uphill battle."
