"IBM today is not the IBM of 2003, certainly not the IBM of a generation ago. Have you ever seen IBM on a Best Places To Work list No, and there's a reason. Gone is respect for the individual. No longer is experience valued. There is no loyalty up from employees or down from management. Cutting labor costs gained IBM some temporary advantage, but that's now disappeared. Work there for a few years, build your resume, then move on."
