"This was the most toxic work environment I have ever been a part of. Almost no one in this office has been there for much longer than a year. The owners only care about money and could care less about their employees or their clients. They openly allow discrimination, with notes in the client's profiles about what race, age or size CareGiver the client prefers. The owners asked for us to word our documents differently to satisfy the states regulations as well as the insurance companies regulations basically asking us to commit insurance fraud. The main thing this office does not have is teamwork, everyone works on their own agendas to try to get a "one up" on the other employees. The pay is competitive but is not worth the toxicity of this work environment. Also, the state came in and found that a lot of the state regulations were not being followed and the owner said to just give it a couple months and things will go back to normal, as in go back to breaking state regulations a few months after they were not under the microscope of the state. Also, something new they implemented was that all clients companion or personal care needed an RN assessment and the owner (whose also an RN) stated that she will not do these assessments because her time is more valuable and the clients would have to pay her more than the other RN's for her to go out. Like i said this place is absolutely toxic, think hard before considering a position with this company."

"They go the extra mile to assist with new patients and gather information regarding the ones in need of help. And they offer paid training. Home instead is not your average caregiving agency. They go out of their way to make everyone’s experience peaceful and treat all like family."

"If applying as a CAREGiver, bring all necessary documents and have a good idea of what availability you have. Tell as much about yourself that is pertinent so that a good match can be made for you and your potential client."
