"Opportunities for advancement are limited and it's not a very stable company financially."

"It was extremely difficult to obtain approvals to develop and implement in business process even when the business saw the benefits and the overall cost savings."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"When there employees to together ROI's for equipment, application and process changes, understand them and ask questions if necessary. Don't be locked into the number of members gained or lost, think more about the services being provided."

"Typical American corporate management. Overly paid upper management with excessive golden parachutes. Pay should be for performance. New executives hire old buddies."

"Worry more about the customer than your compensation."

What don't you like about working at Health Net?

"This is the worst company that I ever worked for. I worked at the Oakland facility. My Director and Vice President were arrogant and mean-spirited. In 18 months, the department experienced a 100% turn-over, including ALL managers working for the Director. At the time when I was 1 of 3 remaining employees out of 15, I contacted HR and they did nothing about it."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Pay attention to turnover numbers...There's a reason why nobody stays."

"I liked the benefits and the pay."

"Don't do IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the benefits and pay are not worth the terrible work environment."

"they are so inconsiderate, think only of the company and not the employees. My mother passed and my supervisor actually emailed me and asked me for proof..."

"Make sure you are aware of the other third party payers in California."

"Many of the requests were challenging and passed on but I took responsibility and finished the request."

"They need to make the request via internet."

"HN is a good company - not the greatest in terms of strategic leadership. More of a follower in the Healthcare industry than a leader."

"The sudden decisions made by Senior Level Executives without thorough risk assessments."

"Planning is halfway to the goal - executing is the other half.Planning includes Risk Assessment."
