What do you like about working at General Motors?

"I was given the opportunity to grow with on-the-job training, from being an analyst to industrial engineer. My knowledge and skills were fully developed, furthering my education and training. I was mentored by two senior engineers. I was assigned to perform a sales administration project and finance GL accounts while performing industrial engineering responsibilities, with altogether experience of 16 years."

"Be assertive, be yourself, and be professional."

What don't you like about working at General Motors?

"Just like in any workplace, we each face challenges. Those challenges we have to overcome if we are to persevere."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Corporate management decisions affect real people within the community, city, state, and country. The last plant manager assigned to our plant was given the hardest task to shut us down, although we are making improvements."
