"I’ve worked in GE Appliance Park, Louisville since 2019. GE pays for my tuition and some courses to develop my coding skills. I have great communication with my manager and my coworkers."

"I have been with GE since 2010. GE is a globalized company with 50,000+emoployes. Overall GE is a good company to work for, has good benefits, training, and career growth opportunities for the employees. At the same time as in any big corporation, the key is a relationship with an immediate supervisor, who is a human and can be good or not so much. In over, I will recommend work for GE."

"This is a great company to work for with a lot of room to grow. They pay very well but you will take on a lot of stress for the compensation. The only downside is that they flip flop frequently on moving jobs from the business to a centralized location. Stability is not always the best."

"I worked for GE for 3 years, 1 as an intern and 2 as a full-time employee. I learned a lot in my time their working on various enterprise web applications. Fellow employees and management were always helpful and went out of their way to help with any issues. The work environment was well organized and I generally knew what was expected of me. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good company to work for."

"I was so excited to start a position with GE last year. They talk about the "GE family" but then GE decides to do mass-layoffs on a regular basis. Permanent re-organizations (three in 8 months) make it easy for the "layoff staff"."

"GE is a great place to work but because it is so big you can be more susceptible to layoffs and things can more easily slip through the cracks. On the positive side they have a wide reach and there are a lot of opportunities to move up or move around to gain more experience."
