"Be yourself. Most managers are down to earth and approachable. They won't appreciate pretenses."

"There was always the potential of layoffs and the layoffs did not always make sense."

"Give people the right tools to do their jobs effectively. Be honest; don't treat employees like potential investors who need to be sold on the company."

"If you're looking for an analytics position but don't experience with applying analytics in the business world, then try to read up on it. One possible text is Credit Scoring and Its Applications by Thomas, et al."

"Company made decision to promote use of internally developed analytic modeling software which is not competitive with best products in the market"

"Find a better way than laying off top performers to control costs"

"Not the best managment. Everything else was alright."

"You get your own office, learn Unix, learn Groovy, and learn about FICO products."

"Its a roughly 4 hour interview process. Review your basic stats concepts and logistic regression. Presentations and panel interviews."

What don't you like about working at Fair Isaac?

"Very limited personal support. Some of the management is rude, unprofessional, and does not understand how to motivate workers."

"More relevant, job function focused on-boarding. Better technical training programs and explanation of resources."
