"Teamwork, ability to help my community, ability to expand my education, sense of brotherhood amongst fellow medics."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"This is a great place for medics who are freshly certified to gain great field experience before moving onto higher volume/big city operations."

What don't you like about working at Wendover Ambulance?

"Pay was very poor for what type of work we did. No benefits, small company meant difficult to provide us with everything needed to make it the ideal job that provided for home and health."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Pay medics hourly intead of per-call basis. The paid volunteer concept is extremely flawed."

What do you like about working at Underwood-Memorial Hospital?

"It is comfortable enviroment which the boss invites and supports suggestions for improvments. At the same time, he will test the limits of your abilities. But, its fun nevertheless."

What don't you like about working at Underwood-Memorial Hospital?

"All of the employees are part time. None of us signed on to get rich. we enjoy training. But, I sometimes wish there were less employees so we would get more work."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Better scheduling. Sometimes classes seem to fall through the cracks. When that happens the dependable instructors get that panicy call. I've gotten used to it in the past ten years but wish it could get better."

"Be yourself and possess a positive attitude, always. Go the extra mile."

What don't you like about working at Coffey County Hospital?

"The lack of willingness to communicate productively and respectively and the general overall poor attitudes and poor work ethic bother me most. This is especially frustrating when it affects patient care and the overall impact it has on the patients impression of us as medical providers."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Have accountability and be responsible for your actions. Communicate with your team in a positive and constructive manner. Treat each and everyone with dignity and respect and have the integrity to admit when you've made a mistake. Treating people the way you wish to be treated and having a commonground would be nice. Establishing and enforcing rules and guidelines and following ethical practices would be a solid foundation to start with."

"I do not like working with this company with the lack of management skills. A manager should treat employees equally and with respect."

"If anything about the business should be told to the employees, it should be told to them all at the same time. To be fair and respectful to all employees not just the ones that you like."

"at times the lak of communication between physicians offices( I tried to work on connecting all offices, staff so they could rely on each other for things)"
