Dermstore.com Employee

"Despite being a wholly owned subsidiary of Target Corp, they are operating independently and isolated from Target Corp. Management failed to invest in the individual growth and development of their team, which leads to a high turnover rate of valuable employees. Management is consistently absence at the workplace during work hours, and quite often leave early before 5pm, leaving majority of the work to the subordinates. The culture of the company is questionable, favoritism is the norm and you have to be a part of the right clique if you ever want to grow or get promoted. There is a lack of career development and focus on the employees' satisfaction, which resulted in the annual Employee Survey to be less than satisfactory. I would advise Management to make it a priority in investing in ALL of their employees and appreciate each and every employee. Favoritism in the work place is very toxic and will disrupt the overall culture of the Company. The core foundation of the Company is based on the people working at the Company, not sales numbers or how much money you are making. The inability to attract talented people or retaining talent will catch up sooner or later, no matter how successful the company appears to be. Please treat your employees with respect and maybe the company culture will turn around."
