"Daugherty is a good company. They endeavor to take care of their employees and they have a nice combination of title and role: you're not just a software engineer or business analyst, you're a consultant software engineer or business analyst. Being a consultant is not about taking orders from a client, whatever those happen to be. It's about collaborating with the client, asking good questions, looking for ways to improve, and challenging assumptions. The only problem I have seen is that Daugherty does not seem interested in pure remote roles and they tend to have a problem with setting expectations that they can't meet."

"There's not much to like about Daugherty honestly. Their hiring practices are misleading and they have little to no regard for their employees."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"You will be grilled and judged extensively. Be prepared. Your in person interview will be based soley on your appearance and presentation of yourself, not your skills. If you don't fit the mold you don't get the job."

What don't you like about working at Daugherty Business Solutions?

"No bonuses. When hired you're told that the bonus is that you get paid overtime for any hours over 40. If your project doesn't allow overtime you get no bonus. Since when is working more than 40 hours a week a 'bonus' anyway"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Give people a real bonus for their merit. Quit micromanaging projects at the executive level. Its ridiculous!"
