Darigold was founded in 1918 when five dairy cooperatives in the Northwest’s Puget Sound area combined to successfully market quality products.

Headquartered in Seattle, Washington, Darigold is a subsidiary of the Northwest Dairy Association and has over 700 dairy farms and 12 processing plants throughout five Northwestern states. Darigold produces in excess of two million gallons of milk every day which enables the cooperative to produce and distribute many dairy based products such as butter, liquid milk, cheese, and yogurt with sales being in excess of $2 billion a year.
