No one in my department has seen a raise in the past 8 years. as News Director, I was asked to hire "qualified anchor/reporters" for $10 an hour. Tech support was minimal in a setting that demands more."

It seems they are going in a lot of different directions. If they realize they need to take care of their current staff they will do just fine. If not they we have a lot of openings very soon."

"Cumulus provides a very atypical business culture. Expectations are incredibly high, resources and training are lacking. Overall leadership at the Corporate level is almost non existent. The local markets are not provided the resources and training that is required to be a successful, PARTICULARLY on the Digital forefront. The local markets are filled with wonderfully dedicated, hard working staff. If only they had the backing of Corporate and true leadership, they could accomplish so much more."

"Benefits, pay, managment, support, encourgment, giving credit when it's due."

"Hear the good ideas coming from the talented pool working there and stop treating employees as witnesses to be interogated where they are already assumed to be guilty."

"The radio industry is not very consistent. The turnover of bosses is very frequent as well. Don't get too comfortable."

"They did not promote our station at all, did not give raises, and did not match 401ks"

"I would have more incentives for employees, match their 401k, and promote each station equally."

"The people I work with are very professional and helpful. I love radio and music so it's always exciting to work somewhere with other people who share that interest. Tickets to concerts and games and being part of the team to put together events that raise money for charity and provide great entertainment is definitely a bonus!"

"The corporate office is in Atlanta, Georgia and they provide the least benefits and percentages for sales people in the industry. They also offer no compensation for gas, travel or parking for their sales people."

"Take into consideration the cost of living differences for each of their locations and compensate accordingly."

"It's the only time you get to have an Ego and not be critizised; be yourself and show them who you are and how you want to be apart of their team!"

"nothing, it's all I know out of college and I have only worked for 2 companies my entire career. I have extensive corporate experience with b2b success.. I would love the opportunity to break into medical sales. I know I can be even more successful with such a rewarding job!"
