Founded in New Bremen by two brothers, Carl and Allen Dicke, in 1945, Crown Equipment continues to be family-run into a fourth generation. The company began as a manufacturer of temperature controls for coal burning furnaces, transitioned to television antenna rotators and electrical components, and finally moved to lift truck production in 1957. Crown Equipment went global in 1966 and now has an extensive sales and service dealer network spanning eleven countries.
