3.4My office manager is involved when he needs to be and is readily available for any possible consults. We don't have a CEO, I guess that would be the elected Assessor - Clerk - Recorder. Our big fish is great because he frequently visits the various regional offices and makes himself available to all staff and is genuinely caring towards all staff members.
2.2Benefits used to be exceptional, however our pension plan has been downgraded and the employer-paid piece has gone down to zero. Pension is 100% paid by the employee now. Politics interfere with work environment and you will see unqualified professionals getting ahead of more qualified professionals. Be prepare for an unfair workplace.
My suggestion for management would be to continue the support and training for the employees. From my observations, the employees were extremely overwhelmed with their case loads.
